I never felt that my blogging was prolific but certainly up to December 2010 I posted regularly. So at a point my thoughts and reports had attracted more readers than I had hoped for.
One thing that as a sales controller I can do is feed back to you what is hot and what is not. Or certainly what counts as a winner in our Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire distribution.
Every day brings new challenges and new opportunities but today I think that I heard a sad thing. We have websites to sell shoes online and that pretty much sums up the grand plan.
So on this occasion we are looking at the week starting 27th of September. The top sellers are so different to Newark Chain Lane that you would not know that they are in the same group.
Covering the week from 20/9 there is one clear winner. Now bear in mind we are covering only Newark here and in Chain Lane but it is quite a win all the same. Shown in first place by percentage then descending.
Perhaps the only good thing to be seen on the shop floor this season is that predominantly only men with no style wear trainers when not doing sport. I will ignore the classic Geox type low profile here,
